| Nathan's 4th Birthday at School |
|
Nathan goes to a Montessori school and they have a special way of celebrating the children's birthdays! First, there are no gifts and no parties. |
| 
|
| The children sit in a circle and the teacher places a yellow circle representing the Sun with a big candle in the middle and up to six candles around it (in Nathan's class there are kids from 4 to 6 years old). |
| 
|
|
Then the birthday child holding an earth globe walks around the Sun one time per each year lived and after each round, he/she shows his friends photos of that year, so that
their friends can see how they looked when they were little and how much they have changed and grown! It is really lovely! |

| Nathan served icecream cake to his friends one by one! |
