Just 3 blocks from Duval street is the entrance to what is considered by many to be the nicest beach in Key West.

Not only is it the most picturesque on the island, it is the only beach where the water is truly deep enough to swim. There are also protected areas where the breakwater makes it safe for children of all ages. (We recommend bringing "surf mocs" or beach shoes because our shores can be rocky!)
This is a real Park & Beach, with Australian Pines surrounding the beach that is quite long, giving you plenty of different options. This is a favorite location for weddings or vows, with several little corners where a ceremony can be performed privately. (The photo above is our wedding!)
BBQ grills, picnic benches, shaded areas, restrooms, fresh water showers, snack bar, lounge rentals, and a historic fort to tour are all on site. The beach is part of Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and Historic Site. There is a daily admission fee that allows you to come and go as you please until sunset, when the park closes.

Please call the Park for information at 305-292-6713.
