Artist Marcela Collado Wagner was born in Santiago, Chile, and was exposed to fine art from a very early age through travels with her family in Chile and also abroad, where she was influenced by such artists as Chilean oil painter Pedro Lira, as well as such classics as Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, the Impressionists, Tamara de Lempika, Singer Sargent, the Wyeth family and others.
Largely self trained, Mrs. Wagner's work shows a control of her medium for which she has received critical acclaim. Mrs. Wagner is currently accepting clients for individual or group portraiture based on photographs. A successful entrepreneur, her busy schedule as partner in two travel businesses restricts the number of projects she currently accepts, therefore availability is limited to just one or two clients per month.
